Great service but could have been kept more up to date with the progress and when I should expect my car to be returned.

Always clean and welcoming, great car displays and no wait to be served
Unfortunately I had to leave the car there for an extra day so that parts could be delivered (rear spring). If it could have been done on the same day then would have scored 5. But for a 10 year old car, I would not expect all parts to be in stock
Unable to fix and require vehicle in. I went for a X as I take the vehicle off road. Chandlers unable to offer me a satisfactory loan car, and even offered me a Mini? If I wanted a mini, I would have purchased a mini. Without my car for 5 days :-(
Communication skills need to be improved

I have recently had my car in Chandlers Portslade twice. First for Service, then, 4 weeks later, for MOT. Each time, after about 10 miles driving, the Tyre Low Pressure Warning has activated. See next box.
It is always a feel good experience with Chandlers
I gave the fault code on arrival. The car needed plugging in diagnosing and vent motors recoding. Didn't need the health check and car wash. Would of been nice to be informed what was going on as we had to hang around for 2 hours for a 20 minute job.

I had a quote for job so knew it was perhaps more expensive than some other non bmw garages, but I chose Chandlers for the service
Please see above. I would add that the technician who looked at the car was either incompetent or I suspect could not be bothered to inspect the light properly.
I needed a new tyre fitted was done promptly and at an agreed price
Apart from the brakes issue - which I don't consider to be Chandlers' fault - I'm quite happy with them.
Car collected, and returned, with all work done on time. Just one small point marked you down one peg. Your mechanics plugged the middle rear seat belt into its seat-housing and I cannot work out how to unclip it yet!

Everything went to time and plan.
I found the advice attached to the wiper stalk the following day - I'd collected the car in the dark and hadn't seen it. As i walked out past the finance desk, neither of the staff there said goodbye, I felt as if I was a nuisance picking up late
There were no problems with the work or service.

Ian & Chris are true professionals when dealing with me & especially knowing I am not the easiest of people.
A date was set when I first arranged car and I was kept informed all the way through
They did adjust it to my availability, i cannot ask for more and you can really feel that you are a client not just a random person

Good showroom, great service
Ashley Langley was amazing. He helped us from browsing to purchasing (motability) and kept up updated and then checked in on us after. Even pick up car customer service was amazing.
There was a slight issue with holding down cars, but in the end BMW worked it all out and were extremely helpful.
Sales assistant was very knowledgeable and quickly identified my requirements and found the solution
BMW centre very attentive & sensibly responsive to my query. Delivery date as promised so nice & quick.

The whole experience was a joy, and although I wasn't particularly keen on replacing my car at the time, Amer put that joy back into the process, and was firing up my enthusiasm as the time approached to collect my new Z4.
We can comment on the quality of the coffee (excellent), the quality of staff at Chandlers Brighton (warm, kindly and with excellent inter-personal skills) and the quality of the vehicle (which is what we were there for) and too is excellent!
James Wells was amazing, understanding, empathetic, patient in helping us after a very serious car accident. He is simply outstanding and I really hope BMW Reward him accordingly !

Amer definitely gets 5 stars, really looked after us. As I mentioned before, professional, friendly and easygoing. What we really liked was that he wasn't overly salesy ( if that's a word!) Had exactly the right mix of all the above.
a number of issues i was not happy with which i relayed to sales manager his name i believe to be chris rooney at chandlers some issues which still have not been resolved some 3 weeks after receiving the car.
Finance details and drive away insurance weren't in place when I went to pick up the car which necessitated me returning the following day to complete the paperwork and take the car home
