Service booking and completion delayed because of BMW recall workload spike - not previously a problem.

I was told it would be a short service, and decided to wait. I checked in at 13.00 but the car wasn't ready until 16.45. There were no problems with the service, and If I had known it was going to take that long, I would have collected it next day
Its annoying that the drivers seat gets adjusted away from where it takes me ages to get right, I understand the need for the service guys to move forward and back but why adjust other settings? Perhaps its by mistake as they get mixed up which lever

Generally the service is very good if a little too formal at times.

Initially it was slow to get in and be see. 7 day to appointment.Then a long time to diagnose. Maybe due to the nature of the fault though.I was happy that the issue was sorted and fault was searched for rather than just selling me new battery
Just enough was done for three stars. The process is mechanical and not proactive, the cost of the service was much higher than the estimate I got when I booked despite the fact no extra work done and the car was 'washed' but more dirty than before.
If they didn't always mess with my seat position, re-tune the radio and (worst of all) switch my automatic lights off I'd give an extra star.
When I originally booked my car in (for a map update and what I perceived to be a coding issue) the staff didn't listen, nor write down what I said on the job sheet. Three days later the car was returned to me without either the update or ..
My car is 20 years old. I get the same level of service as if I was driving away in a new car.

Staff forgot to reset the brake fluid service date. I had to return to have it reset.

I brought my car in at 8.00am and was the first person in the service centre. You started working on my car late afternoon and it was he last out. Why is this?

Necessary work was explained during a telephone call before commencing. Service was completed on same day and car ready for collection having been cleaned. Looked like new.

See above response. Because Neil professionally handled the issue of my alloy wheel being damaged I have scored as fairly satisfied. I would otherwise have rated as dissatisfied on this occasion.
The problem was dealt with on the day, without any problems, except I didnt hear back from Dean regarding my query over the labour cost for older vehicles, plus there was a socket wrench left in my engine bay.
Again, difficulty at getting through by phone to make the appointment.

As above, the service that your team gives is great however there is always room for improvement and when I arrived I was kept waiting for a while as there were only 2 people out on the service desk.
it was easy to book, and loved the 90-minute turnaround service, comfortable area to work from whilst I waited, including Wi-Fi and a coffee! Everyone was super friendly too.

Took longer than initially told. For the second time of asking the garage did not reset the brake fluid replace warning message, the fluid was replaced in August.

Attentive service staff
The Brighton Chandlers showroom was clean and welcoming with a pleasant waiting area. From what I could see of the servicing area though staff seemed under extreme pressure, with some guys literally running around. This did not inspire confidence.
Very good and complete feedback. On time and professional.
Chandlers did not remind me that my MOT was due despite the fact that the car was bought from them. They gave me the cope out answer of "data protection". No name badges worn and issue with phone was not adequately addressed.
Planned actions completed without delay.

great care was taken to understand the nature of the fault so that it was resolved satisfactorily service reception organised a techician to accompany me on a test drive to highlight the fault and arranged a loan car in the meantime
I had a problem with a car I had bought brand new 2 years ago. Initially I was anxious about getting the problem resolved but I now have my car back and the problem was resolved completely to my satisfaction by Greg.

Quality of car cleaning has deteriorated badly of late.....
I was appalled by the level of service given. I do not think it's professional to not greet people good morning, on top of that. They provided a courtesy car with 11 miles left in the tank, I was also promised reimbursement which I never received.
Because of damage to my car and failed attempt to properly repair this damage. Also, Chandlers have made several promises since the incident that have not been fulfilled. Complaint still current. Car is now with Chandlers to be properly repaired.
We were contacted regularly and as always politely. The only reason not given top marks is the price is a little high.

They did not stamp my book even though it was left on the passenger seat so I had to go into the garage again. The parking is a walk from the showroom entrance and I was 40 weeks pregnant with a toddler so a space to drop the car would be nice.
They seem pretty happy to fix the issues (with cost of course!). Always friendly

I have tyre insurance. At my last service the indication was that the tyres were still legal but would need replacing soon. When I had a flat it was then deemed that they were past their useful life. Confusing information !

Initial booking was great customer service, after this it has failed entirely.
Car took 5 months to arrive from order date, I kept getting video messages telling me "great news, the car delivery date has moved forwards" when it actually hadn't!

As stated in A1. However, I am already concerned about the service and maintenance due to report of poorly trained technicians in most of the UK BMW dealerships (Chandlers have their fair share of poor feedback (Google reviews)).
