Good service but rather flaky communication between different people at the service desk.
Everything went to time and plan.
I found the advice attached to the wiper stalk the following day - I'd collected the car in the dark and hadn't seen it. As i walked out past the finance desk, neither of the staff there said goodbye, I felt as if I was a nuisance picking up late

I felt that they handled the recall very well, from my initial contact via the on-line booking, to answering my follow-up email and explaining what the procedure would be and to keeping to my expectation for when the replacement work was carried out.
As previously the car passed mot with flying colours only for the engine to pack in hoping the bmw will cover the cost as I don't believe the car was sold fit for purpose

I thought the tyre balancing was over priced
My report stated that the Car's battery health was red, yet I wasn't informed when I picked the car up. If I had been informed I would have requested it to be changed.
Local dealer gets most things right but still room for improvement, like communication. E.g. was specifically asked to bring car in at 07:45, but staff didn't turn up until 08:00! Also asked for car not to be washed but it was still washed.

They failed to tell me that the repair I had requested on one of my wheels would not be done on the day, despite two calls beforehand to discuss this. At the last service they charged me for screen wash which I had topped up myself that morning!

All items were done as required, this time I was contacted and informed of progress. Let down was the MOT service interval had not been updated and luckily I had not driven away. This only took 10 mins to resolve but I'd had a similar issue before.

For the second time of this car being in Chandlers Brighton I have subsequently had a problem with tyre pressures. Chandlers seem to work to lower pressures than recommended in the door panel ; within 100 miles I receive a tyre pressure warning !
Took 3 weeks to achieve a post sales snagging issue - had to chase
Service all fine, normally car gets cleaned. Spent 2k with you on service and tyres and car came back dirty still.

Service did not make it clear after they sent me the video and said everything was fine that after this they took for test drive and found mis alignment
The only issue I had was the work timing. The car in at 9am for MOT & brake fluid computer re-set. I requested a t/phone call by 2:30pm and collect at 3:30 as I had other appointments. I ring at 4pm and was told it would be ready at 5pm to collect.
Was prepared to pay cash for the Car Service but this was refused. My Debit and Credit cards were left at home.. I was left stranded !! It was only the "goodwill " of the Service Manager, who arranged for a mechanic to drop me off on his way home

Very long wait for courtesy car. Staff didn't seem very concerned considering this is a premium brand and car less than 6m old. This is going to end up with a rejected car if issue comes back

Product recall - fixed much quicker than anticipated and the courtesy car was really good too.
Amer definitely gets 5 stars, really looked after us. As I mentioned before, professional, friendly and easygoing. What we really liked was that he wasn't overly salesy ( if that's a word!) Had exactly the right mix of all the above.
a number of issues i was not happy with which i relayed to sales manager his name i believe to be chris rooney at chandlers some issues which still have not been resolved some 3 weeks after receiving the car.
Finance details and drive away insurance weren't in place when I went to pick up the car which necessitated me returning the following day to complete the paperwork and take the car home
